We are a unique "Girls-Only" program designed to introduce the game of hockey in a FUN, low key, no pressure environment with emphasis on skill development, meeting new friends and fostering a love for the game.

Girls United Hockey IL is brought to you by a dedicated and collaborative group of like-minded coaches, players, parents, program administrators and volunteers UNITED in a commitment to provide a "girls-only" recreational level hockey experience for players ages 4 to 10 years old at surrounding Chicagoland ice facilities.

Program Features

 

• Instruction by USA Hockey certified professional coaches and young female hockey ambassadors

• Skill instruction based on the USA Hockey American Development Model(ADM) helping kids to reach their full potential.

• Shorter seasons to allow girls to play multiple sports

• Less time commitment - only one day per week on the weekend

• Less financial commitment -  only $49 for eight sessions 

• Convenient - regional and community based facilities for less travel and ease of participation

• Consistent weekend ice time for ease of family planning 

• Hockey equipment package available for use with a "fitting" pizza party - relieves parental stress and gets girls ready and feeling comfy 

• Players receive a fun jersey to keep and get to pick a color 

• #superSOCIAL with #hockeyfriends after each ice session
